Thinking of You

While the disastrous events that have hit Japan during this past week continue to grip the world's attention, our hearts sink deeper as we watch the horrors unfold and grieve with the victims of this unimaginable tragedy.
Drawing inspiration from the resilience and perseverance that the Japanese have demonstrated as they've endured and risen above other hardships throughout history, we recognize that pain is temporary, and the opportunity to reach out to others always presents itself.
Wherever we might be, do we know others who could benefit from a little kindness? Can we find it in our hearts to share a little?

  1. That is a wonderful sentiment Michele. It is so desperately sad to witness such terrible human suffering. Let's hope that the nuclear situation can be contained and the Japanese can start to rebuild their shattered lives. It also makes me just so grateful for the life I live..there are always difficulties..at times they may feel insurmountable but nothing compared to their suffering. It is sharing kindness which takes us through this dark tunnel and helps us emerge back into the light.

  2. This is beautiful. I love this. Very thoughtful and well done. It's so sad, I just can't help thinking of those poor people, how scared they must be for their future.

  3. What a lovely and powerful image. I almost can't bear to look at a newspaper any more. The photos are gut wrenching and yet humanity somehow manages to move forward.
