Pssst! Were you ever told to use your "inside voices" as kids? Or was this just a trick that adults used in the days when children were to be seen and not heard? It's been sort of quiet around here lately- I've been using my "inside voice," while working on my "inside" projects. But here's a reason to shout- Tomorrow is March 1st and spring is as good as here!

Lovely work!!! Love the colors!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was great to find that you had visited my blog Michele but even better to find that you have put up a post...horray!How lovely to wake up to your wonderful spring image. These flowers are just the sweetest and I agree that although they all look very shy I think they are using their inner voices to shout the arrival of March. It has been a long winter here and I am so looking forward to the spring. So good to see your work again...don't be away again too long ;0) Jane x

ReplyDeleteI still get told ... well, I often have my nieces and nephews and own daughter in quite a raucous state when playing and often feel embarrassed when they get in trouble for being too noisy.... This is a lovely illustration, so happy and sweet.
