If anything could say it experienced a sense of deja-vu, wouldn't it be water? In southern California, sometimes we have it, sometimes we don't, but we just go with its intermittent flow and hope we don't get stuck up that creek without our paddles!
Gray skies outside my window hint that soon, I'll be dealing with water and a deja-vu of a different sort looms. Unfortunately, it will be in my kitchen, and a sink full of dishes waiting to be cleaned. Hope you return to more exciting circumstances!

this is sweet....like the waves and how they curl...
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of a stained glass window - very beautiful design!
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice thought about the water cycle, implying water has a memory.
ReplyDelete(by the way some scientists say that is actually the case).
Your illustration seems to move.

I really like your take on deja-vu Michele, it's so interesting to see every artist's interpretation. That rain on your window will cetainly experience deja-vu as it is eventually recycled to the sky it was rained from!I totally agree that your lovely painting would made a really cool stained glass window.

ReplyDeleteLovely painting!
Nice! I agree with everyone else's comments, especially the stained glass window idea. If you figure out how to contact the dish washing fairy, please let me know!
ReplyDeleteGreat composition.
ReplyDeleteVery creative - beautiful colors and wonderful movement! Great idea! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely design! Sorry I missed it last week. It has a sense of peace and tranquility after a storm has passed and the rain turns to drops with hope for a rainbow from the sunlight against the misty sky.
ReplyDeleteHey what a wonderful way of looking at things - to get that fresh perspective on doing the washing up :)
