I've tried to keep the good lessons I've learned close to heart and let the rest of it go. But the track record isn't exactly perfect, if you catch my drift! Experience tells me that I have much more to learn, and that's about all I can say on the subject for now...hee hee!
Welcome to my new visitors! Thanks to all who came by last week to comment. You're a kind and friendly bunch! I hope to see you again here, and of course I'll be heading over to your blogs, too. Hope it's been a good week!

It's a constant battle isn't it? I'm sure it all balances out in the end and we mostly make the good decisions. I love your take on this week's topic and very nicely illustrated too.
ReplyDeleteThis is my favorite!!! so well done and oh so clever! xo
ReplyDeleteWe all have a lot to learn…and the journey is rewarding. Love your drawing.

Hi Michelle,
ReplyDeleteAnother really great illo! Love her holding her heart. Thanks for the feedback too!
The biggest conflict...the choice between good and evil. Even a bad decission is a good learning experience. Excellent illustration!
ReplyDeleteLovely concept Michele, we all have so much to learn and the good thing is we are never too old to do so. Enjoy the lessons of life!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend and thanks for your lovely visits to my blog, I so enjoy "seeing" you there!

Love this Michele, I especially love the yeah, yeah, yeah caption.
ReplyDeleteHer expression says it all! Adorable!
ReplyDeleteWe'd all be a bit boring if we were all good, wouldn't we? Adorable illustration :)
ReplyDeleteHI Michele. What a great interpretation of the LESSON message. Her expression is perfect along with the hand over heart and tad bit of 'tude' she is projecting. It is always in hindsight that I concede to having learned from the bad along with the good. Actually it is the mistakes I learn from the most. Thanks so much for the birthday 'peep' this week.
ReplyDeleteHey Honey Bunny,
ReplyDeleteI know I have been missing in action. Relocation is a real trip! he he he he! Hope that you had a wonderful Mother's Day, even if you are not a mom I hope it was good. This is such a wonderful illustration and makes me chuckle. That sound so much like me he he he he. Let's just say it's a moment captured. Hugs to you.

Heisann!
ReplyDeleteI learned once that we all have a part of a princess and a part of a 'troll' inside us, that makes us complete. I have an illustration of this proverb some place....
Nice drawing ;:o)
